Considering the world economic situation, we should be doing everything possible to increase our GDP. Decreasing our productivity by a poor (in world standards) broadband infrastructure monopolised by one company, a mandatory net filter that slows down our ability to communicate with the rest of the world will only hurt our economy in this time of need. I could go on about the other reasons as to why a net filter is a terrible idea and why we need a strong broadband infrastructure but these two points at this particular time are key.
