Alan
I believe the majority of Australians are interested in tackling the issue of child porn on the internet, but are not interested in censorship dictated by the government. The majority of child pornography sites are likely to be well hidden and communicated to select groups, and therefore not known to net filters. Therefore is more productive to use the resources available to actively search these offenders out and make an example of them, rather than setting up a fence and hoping the problem goes away.
