I oppose the net filtering scheme in the strongest possible terms. I oppose it because: 1. ACMA trials have already demonstrated that it won't work properly; 2. The newly-invented scope of "unwanted content" wasn't voted on and has no oversight; 3. I believe in an internet free of censorship -- including pro-euthanasia websites. Senator Conroy, this proposal has been rejected by the Opposition, the Greens, NSW Young Labor, the computer industry, parents and more. Hear the voice of the people. I strongly welcome this blog as a mechanism for hearing the voices of the Australian people. Thank you for opening it, and for printing comments whose views diverge with yours.
