1) With the advent of the digital era in multi-media, the changes to the copyright act under the previous Howard government went too far towards protecting the interests of big business. Australian consumers should have the right to format shift Video they have legitimate rights to. It is currently illegal to format shift an owned DVD for later playback, or store free to air TV for later viewing, unless you only watch it once. Ridiculous.

2. The mandatory filtering of the internet is clearly against the will of the majority of Australians. The last time I checked, they were your boss. How about the House of Representatives actually representing for a change.
