I completely agree with Brianna's comment about not being able to anticipate the wonderful things open access to PSI will allow. An excellent example of a valuable but unexpected use of PSI information by a private site for the public good is the UK's 'They Work For You' site (www.theyworkforyou.com) which aggregates statistics and provides commentaries on politicians, political debates etc. It's an amazing resource, which no one could have seen coming. I'd love to see something similar in Australia.
