Since the establishment of SBS TV, it has been - together with ABC TV - my preferred TV station to watch, as its programs cover a vast range of highly interesting reports, current Affairs/Issues/Documentaries and Films that are of interest as their content is more than crime, sex, money and violence, but offer insight into the lives of people in other regions of Australia and countries where these films have been made, among a multitude of other reasons. SBS TV and ABC TV is always a source of intelligent programming, much needed in this country where it seems that a shallow way of life appears to be the norm. The bar is raised and only in this way will an audience grow in the ability to learn to see beyond the 'fence'.
I do not (!!!) appreciate the interruptions by lengthy advertisements in any case. If there must be advertising than, by all means, between programs or not at all.
SBS TV and ABC TV is a way of life.
