  1. ABC funding should at least be restored to the real levels it had before the cutbacks of the last 13 years.
  2. ABC Board members should be appointed for their expertise and their commitment to public broadcasting. Over the last 13 years, many appointments seem to have been made primarily on the basis of political allegiance. We need a board which is commited to strengthening the ABC, not destroying it.
  3. ABC should remain commercial free.
  4. More support should be given to informative radio programmes, such as the Science Show, the Health Report, AM and PM.
