I just want to say that Radio National and ABC TV--like the 7:00 news and 7:30 Report, 4 Corners, Media Watch--are oases in the cultural desert that our country has become. (Perhaps it always was?)

I'm not into modern technology, so the radio and free-to-air TV will do me (though I love DVDs and the internet). I'd like to read more but I'm always too tired and stressed out to do much of that in this get-to-work-and-pay-heaps-of-tax world.

Perhaps children's programs could be on another wavelength?

Cheers,

Andrew Richards
