We love the ABC!

I appreciate that new technologies and changing communities continually present new opportunities for broadcasting and a need for regular policy review, and that your outcomes facilitate improvement, so it is commendable that the ABC wants to ensure it is the best it can be.

However change for the sake of it should not damage the presently well balanced mix of childrens, cultural, science, quiz, comedy, movies, documentaries, news, and current affairs (etc) shows being broadcast in a commercial free environment.

My husband's and my only regret is that we have not yet acquired a set top box to benefit from ABC2. Please endeavour to retain the existing heart and soul of your station when upgrading your systems to address the evolving Australian audience.

Regards

The Hodgen family
