This online site ,going a couple of months, shows potential for artistic expression at grassroots level. \
Hugh Mckay on an interview on radio national on 6/11/08( streaming because of no signal on air in our region) reinforced the need for art funding at peoples level rather than the present system of funding the famous.
He went on to say that the excersise of ones athelitic, musical, dance, drama abilities was healthier for the whole nation than just funding the elite.
In the bigger cities the ability to access the groups that supply these services at live venues exists.
But in isolated areas like regional and remote areas the only access is via the internet.
ABC Contribute is one such online service that fills the bill for regional and isolated areas as well it attracks city people to better bridge the gap of contact between country and city.
