SBS used to be an outstanding TV station with mostly excellent programs. It has become a nuisance since the interruption of programs was introduced. I use my DVD recorder more than ever and watch programs later to avoid the interruptions by advertisements. They are useless anyway.
The government should fund SBS sufficiently so that advertisements interrupting a program are no longer necessary. It is a question of culture!
