The SBS TV is my favourite station. I am 6th generation Australian born and to be able to watch shows from other parts of the world brings the world into my lounge room. I particularly enjoy the films that in contrast to much of the American rubbish we get here usually tell a good tale that develops characters with 'real' people rather than 2D barbie dolls. SBS brings a balance into viewing. Also the current affairs and news are favourites of mine. An irritation is the introduction of the advertisements that break up programmes, but if they have to continue then I can still continue to exercise my right hand finger on the remote control. The introduction of SBS was one of the best things that happened to Australian entertainment - keep it - remove the advertisements!
