This is really a wish list.
I would like to see more Australian and English shows as commercial TV has enough and more American shows.
I would like to see the news be more 'newsy' and include more world-wide and educated information. Unfortunately over the last few years ABC news has become more and more like a commercial channel. i.e. covering 'pop-news' in far greater detail than warranted.
I would like to see the ABC not reduce its quality of reporting where it appeals to the lowest common denominator. There is enough '2-second journalism' on TV/radio as it is.
I would really like to hear non-nasal voices reporting. Readers should have voice training. Nasal tones sound jarring at the best of times.
I am looking fwd to the new breakfast show on ABC 2.
I would like to see the formula for the Sunday morning show change occassionally and have 2 or more women on the panel instead of always having 3 men and 1 women.
