Have watched ABC and SBS for many years and think programmes have changed too much.
Where are the classical music programmes we used to have e.g.Piano concert and others Competitions at reseonable times.
SBS used to have regular Opera programmes with wonderful Opera's e.g. Don Carlos,opera's from Russia,China,Checko Slovakia
and others.Please let them be back again.Otherwise people will never know about them. Could you please have less or none at all violent shows.Too many detective stories with bloody murders,violence ,violence,even kicking etc.People see not much else so it becomes a way to solve problems.There is a lot of good in the worldworld
world that could be emphesised as an example how life can be.SBS used to have biografies of famous persons,Mozart,Stirindberg,etc
More travel,documentaries,cutural information from different countries ,dancing, singing like Global Village but longer.
I watch all the foreign news and Insight,But do you need adveertissements? and break programmes up.Otherwise maybe at the beginning or the end of programmes.I do hope to you will ban as much violent programmes as possible.Give the world a good example,and many of us a way of lfe without hurting and killing each other.I am nearly 90 years old and have been in U.S.during the was ,have been torpedoed ship went down with 2o peolpe we were rescued after 20 hrs in the lifeboats.Please help to make the worl a more harmonious place malie Wynberg
