I believe that it is great how the SBS and ABC are taking advantage of all of the latest technologies, including video on demand services as well as broadcasting through digital television channels. I also like how the ABC has proposed a set percentage of Australian content on current and future television channels. I am unsure if the SBS has a similar plan to the ABC, though I think that it is a good idea to broadcast more Australian content. I strongly believe that in the future there will be a lot more competition between government funded channels and the commercial channels, which will be a good thing in my opinion.
