Figure 1.2 shows a graph of imported and local television programming by the SBS for the period 1996-97 to 2006-07. During this period, the percentages of local and imported programming remained relatively steady. On average, local programming was approximately 25 per cent of the SBS content, and imported programming was approximately 75 per cent.
