Figure 1.1 shows a graph of local and imported television programming by ABC1 for the period 1996-97 to 2006-07. During this period, the percentages of local and imported programming remained relatively steady. On average, local programming was approximately 55 per cent of the ABCs content, and imported programming was approximately 45 per cent.
